![]() ![]() My friend found the documents and showed them to her. My booking was prepaid and it showed unpaid in their computer. When we arrived, we met the terrible reception first. We were satisfied with the hotel overall, but unless we get a really good deal next time, we may look at other options. We used some mileage to pay for the one-week stay. We did not use any of the amenities on this trip. It took forever to get connected and it was very slow. We could only connect one device at a time. We did have a lot of issues with the wifi. Since we were going all day, we were willing to let this go. Housekeeping just made the beds and brought fresh towels in. The room, however, was not cleaned at all the whole time we were there. ![]() The reception staff was somewhat friendly depending he time of day. It turned out to be great! It is conveniently located about a block from the RER and two blocks from a shopping mall where I could find anything from groceries to food and Starbucks! There was also an outlet mall with a 15 to 20 minute walk and Disneyland was a train station away. I was a bit hesitant to stay in the outskirts of Paris not knowing how the transportation would work getting to and from this place. At no time was an apology or compensation offered for any of these issues. The absolute icing on the cake would have to be that at Relais Spa, guests are required to take their own rubbish bags down to the basement bins when checking out. (And, be warned, only one device per room is permitted to access the wifi). We were then told to use the lobby if we needed to access the internet. An IT serviceman was called to our room but couldn't get us a stronger signal. The internet was the slowest we had ever experienced. We were only given one key even though there was two of us, so separate trips away from the hotel weren't possible. Feeling humiliated, I went and sat a few metres away while they spoke to my fiancé. ![]() We were the only guests in the lobby but I was told to leave the reception desk as "we can only talk to one guest per group at a time". The hotel looks fantastic online and upon your arrival. Arriving in Chessy, and excited to be going to Disneyland, my fiancé and I went to check in for our single-night's stay at the Relais Spa. Also be aware that anyone under the age of 18 is not allowed in the pool or spa area, which is stated on their website. They did however have a computer with Internet for use in the foyer at no cost. The only downside was the wifi connection - pretty sketchy as we found it to be elsewhere in other hotels. Staff were friendly and helpful, assisting with booking our tickets for the Eiffel Tower to avoid queues when we got there. The room was very modern and clean and comfortable. The suite was spacious with a separate master bedroom and ensuite and a second bathroom and small kitchen. We only paid 125 Euros for a junior suite for my husband and myself and our 2 and 6 year olds. There was also a fantastic shopping centre very close by as well as pubs and restaurants. Relais Spa Chessy was an excellent choice, with underground car parking and the metro station only about 300m away, with a 40 minute train ride into Paris. We wanted somewhere we could drive to, and leave the car without having to drive into the city. We stayed here for 4 nights after 2 nights at Disneyland Paris. ![]()
